A home away from home
Alpha Delta Pi is a group of women who truly live for each other. We are leaders, scholars, and committed to service, but we are sisters first. We become better, together. Even though we have different interests and experiences, the lifelong friendships gained through Alpha Delta Pi remain a constant for all of us. Did we mention we're the first and finest?
What is formal recruitment?
As a member of University Panhellenic Council at the University of Texas, Alpha Delta Pi participates in a formal recruitment process before the start of the school year. You must register in order to participate, but trust us, it's the best thing you'll ever do! Be sure to learn more about UPC and Formal Recruitment (and door stacks)!
Words from our Formal Recruitment Chair
Hey y'all! I'm Maddie Moore, the 2017 Formal Recruitment Chair of Alpha Delta Pi at UT Austin. Congrats on your acceptance to the 40 Acres! As the oldest surviving chapter of the first secret society for college women, Delta chapter strives to maintain a tradition of excellence through the recruitment of intelligent and confident new members. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to meeting you in the fall and telling you about our sisterhood! Hook 'em and Go ADPi!
Letters of Recommendation
We highly encourage all potential new members to have an Alpha Delta Pi alumna write her a letter of recommendation. If you are a PNM looking to obtain a recommendation for formal recruitment, visit the Texas Panhellenic website for more information.
Potential Member Profiles and Legacy Introduction forms can be found on the Alpha Delta Pi website and may be sent by alumnae in good standing by email or snail mail. Remember, legacies are daughters, granddaughters, and sisters of an initiated Alpha Delta Pi.
